The faculty has departments focused on Public Policy and on Social Work and Development, offering also subjects related to nonprofits: Environmental Economics, Economics of Education, Economics of Health Care, Finance of Environmental Organizations, Finance of Publicly Beneficial Subjects and Social Policy Studies.

Education Center for Nonprofit Organizations

Economics and Management of Nonprofit Organizations, a three semester course for managers of nonprofits offered in cooperation with the Economic Faculty of the Matej Bel University. The program was launched in 1998, it is projected for managers of nonprofit organizations with at least 1 year experience. It is a distance program, graduates write and defend their final work to obtain a certificate of both, CVNO and EF UMB. Another courses offered tareget improving the project writing skills, with particular emphasis on the EU projects.

Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia

The organization is a member of a network of similar organizations, Parners for Democratic Change International. The organization exists since 1991, in 1999 it obtained accreditation of the Ministry of Education to offer courses concerning nonprofit sector and leadership. The organizations offers several seminars and courses for founder and employees of nonprofit organizations, namely: Organizational development and change, Minorities and tolerance, Learning about learning, Community development and civil participation, Prevention and transformation of conflicts, and others.
