I am a Ph.D. candidate and a Junior Researcher at CERGE-EI. I graduated with bachelor and master degrees in finance and credit from the Azerbaijan State Economic University with honors diplomas. I also hold an MA degree in economics from CERGE-EI.

My main research interests are macroeconomics, monetary economics, economic growth, and the resource curse.

I have been living in Prague for the last four years of my life. Before Prague, I was working as an economist at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In my spare time I enjoy reading books, biking, hiking, taking photos, and travelling to faraway places.
