I am an Associate Professor at CERGE-EI (a joint workplace of Charles University, Prague and Czech Academy of Sciences) and at the Institute of Economic Studies, Charles University in Prague. I am also affiliated with IZA and CEPR.
My area of research is mainly development microeconomics, experimental economics and behavioral economics. My research aims to bring insights to topics such as causes and consequences of inter-group conflict, discrimination, poverty and inequality. I have conducted field experiments in Uganda, Kenya, India, the Republic of Georgia, Sierra Leone, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
